Installation into an existing CCTV system
simply involves connecting a BNC cable from each camera into the Series
2 Controller. The Series 2 Controller will work with or without line
locked surveillance cameras. Connect the CAT5 ethernet cable to the
unit, either assign an IP address or use dynamic addressing for the
network protocol. If external access is required, a static IP address
will be required from your Internet Service Provider.
Installation requiring new cameras can
utilize any commercially available NTSC or PAL camera. The Series 2
Controller Interfaces directly to a number of commercially available
pan and tilt mechanisms.
The programmable controller requires that
a suitable sized opto-relay (input or output) be installed in the
appropriate port for the given control function. It is the
responsibility of the installer to insure the integrity of the wiring,
power ratings, and connection.
